Sustainable Engineering Group was hired to perform energy efficiency and conservation services on a range of buildings located in downtown Madison for Dane County through the EECBG funding program. These buildings included general office space, court rooms, lab space, data center, mortuary, prison and detention centers, and a variety of public spaces. The age range of the buildings that are under study is between 8-55 years old. A 15% energy savings is estimated with implementation of recommendations.
