UW Oshkosh renovated and added onto an existing building to create the Student Success Center. The building's interior, including all plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems as well as interior finishes have been replaced. The exterior envelope was upgraded with new high-efficiency glass and roof insulation. The existing building's windows were reconfigured to allow for more daylighting in the building. A geothermal system was installed along with energy recovery ventilation and daylighting controls. The building is projected to perform approximately 40% better than current state code based on energy cost savings. Sustainable Engineering Group's roles for this project include LEED Commissioning, LEED Energy modeling and LEED Measurement & Verification.
